ARTSFEST PERFORMER APPLICATION, WAIVER AND INFORMATION
When: Saturday, June 1st, 2024, 9am-4pm
Where: Main Street, Downtown Warsaw
About: Benton County ArtsFest will include Street and Open Mic Performances, Workshops/Classes, Food Trucks, Make and Take art projects, Art and Craft Vendors and Demonstrations, Sidewalk Chalk contest, and an Art Competition.
Objectives: The objectives of this event are to showcase different forms of art by our talented Benton County artists, while inspiring visitors to explore and express their own creativity. The vendor show will provide the public with an opportunity to enjoy and purchase unique handmade art and crafts, to interact with working artists in the community, and to raise the level of awareness and appreciation for the creativity of our local artisans.
Application Deadline: May 27, 2024
Our main stage will be located outdoors in the Main Street area. Stage acts featuring music and spoken word talents may also be contacted about performing at our open mic.

Selection Criteria:
The ArtsFest committee will be selecting applicants that best represent our festival objectives above. Decisions will be based on a completed application, with entries that exemplify the arts, quality craftsmanship, and unique talents being given priority.Please describe the performance and explain how it ties into our objectives and the mission of this festival. The ArtsFest committee reserves the right to reject any application which, in the committee’s opinion, conflicts with local ordinances or is considered inappropriate for this festival.
You will need to send a performance audition video or photos to lstokes@visitbentoncomo.com at the time you complete the application, or upload into the online registration form.
Weather:
As is the case with all outdoor events, inclement weather conditions will not be rescheduled. Please prepare yourself, performance instruments and props being used for the possibility of such weather with the appropriate protective measures. The ArtsFest committee will determine whether to close down stage events due to inclement weather.
