ARTSFEST OPEN MIC APPLICATION
Where: Drake Harbor Trading Company, 221 Main Street, Warsaw MO, 12-3 pm
About: Benton County ArtsFest will include Street and Open Mic Performances, Workshops/Classes, Food Trucks, Make and Take art projects, Art and Craft Vendors and Demonstrations, Sidewalk Chalk contest, and an Art Competition.
Objectives: The objectives of this event are to showcase different forms of art by our talented Benton County artists, while inspiring visitors to explore and express their own creativity. The vendor show will provide the public with an opportunity to enjoy and purchase unique handmade art and crafts, to interact with working artists in the community, and to raise the level of awareness and appreciation for the creativity of our local artisans.

Our open mic will be located at Drake Harbor Trading Company. Open Mic participants will share their musical and spoken word talents here with a smaller audience than our main stage performers.

Monologue/Speech
Comedy
Poetry
Storytelling
Music
Special performance talents
Performances will be held from 12pm-3pm. All content must be "family-friendly" and are not to exceed 15 minutes in length. The time slots offered are hourly. We will do our best to accommodate as you arrive. Please make plans to enjoy the talented artists performing during your hour timeslot. We look forward to having a successful turnout.
Weather:
As is the case with all outdoor events, inclement weather conditions will not be rescheduled. Please prepare yourself, performance instruments and props being used for the possibility of such weather with the appropriate protective measures. The ArtsFest committee will determine whether to close down or move outdoor events due to inclement weather.
