Meet Our Judge

Kelsey Raines will be judging our art contest this year! Kelsey has a Minor in Fine Arts from Missouri State University and a Masters in Art Education from Central Missouri University. She is a K-12 certified art teacher and has held her position as an art teacher for the Sedalia School District for the past six years.  She has been the recipient of the top prize at Missouri Top 50 Artists in 2013 and was Teacher of the Quarter in 2020 as well as recipient of a scholarship from the National Art Education Association in 2019. She is an avid painter and operates Art By Kelsey Raines LLC. She specializes in portraits but has expanded her business to include murals and window paintings. She resides in Florence, MO with her husband and many dogs, cats, and horses. Her website is artbykelsey.com.
